Well fishing didn’t happen but I had a lovely time wandering around parts of the Shiney Grey County, some I knew and some I didn’t. I also discovered that my knowledge of northern British geography is sadly lacking in a couple of areas – mildly embarrassing. There was a lot of plotting for future trips and a pub lunch under the Red Hill where we wandered around charity shops. A lovely, gentle and gorgeous Bank Holiday with some really beautiful scenery, and then that sunset last night.
I’ve never seen a sky so beautiful, red and the clouds spread across the sky, I can’t describe it. I feel so relaxed, I’ve had such a lovely weekend.
