Just got a phone call from VSO about their campaign in Zambia and actually, since I know something about VSO, having looked into volunteering with them for the past nine years I actually told the kid on the phone a fair amount about it. I then persuaded him to donate money and time to the Oxfam campaign with HIV in India. Before admitting I have no money to donate to VSO though I’m happy to donate time… especially if it involves travelling to Zambia…
