If you had asked me last year what I thought about videoing funerals I would have said there was no need.
Upon further questioning I like to think I would have admitted the use of live-streaming for family in disparate parts of the world to attend. (I say this because I delayed going to Japan for a year in case my Grandma died).
But videoing?
Well, having had a coroner delay processing so that we missed announcing my Dad’s funeral in one local paper and sent emails out hella late to non-locals I have changed my mind completely.
What is the use in planning for situation normal when we have such easy measures to provide comfort in extremis?
I just downloaded my Dad’s funeral video.
