Together Forever has advertised again, not the in person game Together at Last, but the actual online version that I fell in love with over the pandemic.
I’ve signed up but I have to admit I’m slightly curious about how many people will sign up. After all I know at least one former enthusiast who doesn’t fancy sitting in front of his computer now that he doesn’t have to. I don’t know if that’s going to be the standard able bodied position, a lot of things look like they’re sliding back to how they were pre-pandemic because why would the thoroughly able make the adjustments needed anymore?
But there was something that I enjoyed about online LARPS which wasn’t just that it was the closest thing I could get to an in person LARP during the pandemic. I enjoyed the level of control I had over the physicality. I enjoyed connecting with people from all over the world. I liked roleplaying with a totally random mix of people.
Of course that random mix of people became less random over those two years we were playing together, I definitely suspect that it’s going to be mostly the usual suspects who do sign up. Which of the usual suspects it remains to be seen I guess.
