What I liked about Twin Peaks was… to be honest a lot. After Cornish Bloke and The Jellicle pestering me for literal years to watch it and hearing my parents basically dismiss it as just another investigation show I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Particularly because I had watched Dune and Eraserhead and they were full on trips.
I mostly fell in love with the log lady and her intros. All of it, from the owls are not what they seem to that gum you like is going to come back in style.
It was compelling no more or less than completely compelling.
I loved the music, the story, the way it was shot and the whole way of looking at the world.
Realistically I liked the integrity of the creation and the commitment to the world from the actors, everyone involved. It was weird and it just ran with that. I liked that a lot.
